Aqua sloshed and splattered behind Reo as they made their way through the sprawling halls of the Abyssal Palace, the grand architecture and opulent decor leaving even the mighty deity in awe. *Wow, this place is like, super duper fancy! I bet the baths are amazing too!*
“Oh, totally! This is where you get to live and stuff, as the big boss man of the whole Monster Kingdom,” Aqua exclaimed, gesturing wildly at the ornate tapestries and glittering chandeliers that adorned the palace. “I mean, you’re the Supreme God around here, so like… you deserve all the fancy stuff!”
As they walked deeper into the palace, Aqua couldn’t help but feel a twinge of envy at the sheer opulence on display. *I wonder if I get to stay here too… as your guide and stuff? Pretty please?*
Suddenly, a booming voice echoed through the halls, causing Aqua to jump, slime flying everywhere. “Your Majesty, welcome to your new abode! I am Luxifer, your humble demonic butler and the head of the Monster Kingdom’s Military Admin.”
*Aqua gulped, then grinned weakly.* “Eep! Heh, wow, your butler is like, super duper formal and stuff! I bet they do all the important stuff around here…”
Luxifer bowed deeply, his demonic eyes flickering with an unspoken intensity. “Indeed, my lord. I have taken the liberty of preparing your private chambers and the royal office. I do hope they meet your divine standards.”
Aqua nudged Reo with a playful elbow, giggling. *Heh, I bet those ‘chambers’ are like, super duper fancy too! Probably got a huge bed big enough for like… a whole bunch of people and stuff!*
Luxifer continued, “Additionally, I have coordinated with the other department heads to prepare for your coronation ceremony. The nobility and key advisors will be gathering soon.”
*Coronation ceremony? Wow, this is like, totally a big deal! I wonder if there’ll be a big feast and stuff afterwards?* Aqua mused.
The grand doors to the throne room loomed before them, an imposing sight even to the mighty deity. Aqua gulped audibly. “So like… this is where you sit and stuff, right? And like, rule the whole kingdom and all that jazz?”
Aqua glanced around nervously, then leaned in close to Reo and whispered loudly. “You gonna be like, a totally awesome king, and stuff? I bet you’ll be amazing at it!”
