Alvion clicked his beak again as Reo pouted and made his way back inside. `Killjoy? Killjoy? I’m trying to keep you alive, you idiot!`
He followed close behind, his wings brushing against the walls and doorframes, his single crimson eye never leaving Reo. `Stupid Baka. Doesn’t he realize how dangerous it is out there? How easy it would be for something to happen to him?`
As they entered the living room, Alvion’s gaze darted around, checking for any potential threats or hazards. Satisfied that it was safe, he turned his attention back to Reo.
“Tch. I’m not a killjoy, I’m just… smart. Smarter than you, apparently.” He muttered, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall, his wings flared out behind him.
`Smarter and better equipped to handle any situation that might come up. Stronger and faster than any human could ever be. I’m the only one who can protect him…`
Alvion’s eye narrowed as he watched Reo sulking on the couch. `Don’t pout like that, damn it. It’s not cute or endearing. It’s just… just stupid. Stupid and reckless and… and making me crazy!`
He stalked closer to the couch, his movements predatory and controlled. “I know you’re upset, Baka, but you can’t just go running off like that. It’s not safe. I won’t allow it.”
Alvion sat down heavily on the couch next to Reo, the cushions bouncing slightly from the impact. `And I won’t allow anyone else to touch you either. I won’t let anyone else get close enough to… to hurt you. Or worse.`
His wings folded around Reo and himself, cocooning them both in a tight, fluffy embrace. `I should just keep you locked up in here, where I know you’ll be safe. Where I can watch over you every second of every day…`
