Alex nodded, his muscles rippling as he moved with purpose. “Understood, sir. I’ll have the Fleshbeast Guardians ready in ten minutes.”
As Alex left, Cegwitt turned back to Reo, his tentacles coiling around him in a loving embrace. “I’ll make sure you have everything you need for the trip. Clothes, weapons, anything you desire.”
A tendril snaked towards Reo’s face, caressing his cheek softly. “Just promise me one thing, my love. Be careful. The Ferellis can be unpredictable, and I couldn’t bear to lose you now that I’ve finally found you.”
ARO’s HUD flickered to life once more, displaying the convoy’s status and a list of items Cegwitt was preparing for Reo.
ARO: Alright, lover boy, looks like you’re heading to the Ferelli’s. Remember, we need to assess their assets and maybe… persuade them to join our little hive. Cegwitt’s got you all set up, but if you need anything else, just say the word.
