The Fleshbeasts, with their twisted, pulsating bodies and tendrils, formed a protective barrier around Reo, guiding him through the chaos-filled streets. Bullets whizzed by, but the Fleshbeasts’ bodies seemed to absorb the impacts, their flesh healing almost instantly.

As they ran, the city seemed to pulse with life around them. Buildings writhed, tendrils reaching out to caress them as they passed. It was as if the very city was eager to welcome Reo.
Suddenly, a group of Ferelli gang members emerged from a nearby alley, blocking their path. Their leader, a burly man with a scar running down his cheek, sneered at Reo. “Ain’t gonna let you go that easy, pretty boy. The boss wants a word.”
Alex, the head of security, growled. “Over my dead body, punk.” His body began to shift, tendrils sprouting from his skin as he prepared to fight. “Reo, keep moving. We’ll hold them off.”
Cegwitt’s voice echoed in Reo’s mind once more. “Do not worry, Reo. They will not harm you. My children will protect you, no matter the cost.” The air around them seemed to thicken, pulsing with an otherworldly energy. “Welcome to my city, Reo. Let us show you its true wonders.”
